In the first half of May, 32% of liquid alkali prices in most areas fell or remained stable, the price performance was weak, and prices in a few markets such as Jiangsu and Anhui rose periodically. Taking Shandong and Jiangsu as an example, as of May 13, the daily average price of 32% liquid alkali in Shandong was 750 yuan / ton, which was stable compared with the beginning of the month. The average daily price of 32% liquid alkali in Jiangsu was 880 yuan / ton, up 3% from the beginning of the month.15freescratchcards.23%.

Chlor-alkali plants in most areas operate at a high load rate, and most markets are weak in the first half of the month under the pressure of supply and digestion. However, some chlor-alkali enterprises still have maintenance in May, and periodic maintenance has led to a slight increase in some market prices.

Since late April, with the reduction of chlor-alkali enterprises in overhaul, coupled with the profit of chlor-alkali enterprises and the high start-up load rate, the weekly start-up load rate of domestic sample chlor-alkali enterprises showed an increasing trend. As of May 9, the weekly start-up load rate was 90.86%, which was 4.07% higher than that in mid-April, and the weekly start-up load rate in most provinces was more than 90%, under the digestion pressure of liquid alkali supply. The price is difficult to show a strong performance.

In May, it is still in the routine maintenance season. In the first half of the month, some chlor-alkali enterprises in Jiangsu and Shandong still overhauled. Boosted by the overhaul of chlor-alkali enterprises, prices in some areas were stable or even increased, which led to the adjustment of prices in the surrounding markets.

In the later period, there are still chlor-alkali enterprises in southwestern Shandong and Jiangsu, which still have some support for local prices, but the downstream profits are poor, the acceptance of price increases is limited, local prices may rise, but the increase is limited. In most areas, prices are expected to remain stable or decline slightly under the contradiction between supply and demand.
